Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Circus Train Hopper (the "App") handles information. The short version: the App collects no personal data. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs and it makes no network requests. Everything you do in the game stays on your device. The App Store privacy label for this App is Data Not Collected.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, e-mail address, phone number or any other contact details.
- We do not collect your location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or IP address.
- We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports or gameplay telemetry.
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because there is nothing to track.
- We do not sell, rent, share or transfer any data to third parties, because we have none.
What is stored on your device
The App keeps a small amount of data locally so that the game works between launches. This data is stored only inside the App's private sandbox on your device.
| Item | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress: coins, keys, stars, performers, train sets, badges, records, run log, ticket stubs, stage name, streak | A JSON file in the App's private Documents folder | So the game remembers your progress between launches |
| Posters and the portrait photo you choose | JPEG files in the App's private Documents folder | To show your posters in Poster Studio and your portrait on the depot ticket |
| Preferences: music, sound, haptics, hints, onboarding state | UserDefaults on the device | To keep your settings |
None of this leaves the device. Deleting the App removes all of it. Settings › Reset all progress removes it while keeping the App installed.
Camera and photo library
The camera opens only when you tap Camera inside Poster Studio, to take a photo for a poster. The photo library picker opens only when you tap Library. Chosen images are resized and stored inside the App's private folder. They are never uploaded anywhere. Save to Photos asks for add-only access and writes one image into your library. You can revoke these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Sharing
Sharing a poster uses the standard iOS share sheet. The App has no control over, and no visibility into, where you send it. Any service you share to is governed by its own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
The App is suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because no data is collected, no parental consent mechanism is required.
Your rights
Because the App does not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. All data lives on your device and is fully under your control: you can delete it at any time by using Settings › Reset all progress or by uninstalling the App.
Security
All data stays inside the App's sandbox, which iOS isolates from other apps. The App does not transmit data over the network, so there is no data in transit to protect.
Required-reason APIs
The App's privacy manifest declares the use of UserDefaults (reason CA92.1) to store preferences. No tracking domains are declared and no data types are collected.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
